Lichen Planus Pigmentosus is a type of skin disease in which brown patches or macules will be found on patient’s body that can be found mainly on the parts of the body that are directly in contact with the sunlight. Lichen planus is an inflammatory skin condition, characterized by an itchy, non-infectious rash of small, flat-topped pink or purple lesions on the arms and legs. Other parts of the body may also be affected, including the mouth, nails, and scalp. Lichen planus is also called LS. Lichen planus pigmentosus is a common pigmentary disorder in Indian population. Lichen planus pigmentosus-inverus generally occurs in light-skinned individuals in non-sun exposed, intertriginous and flexural areas and skin folds.

Home Remedies For Lichen Planus Pigmentosus are :

  • Add camphor (desi kapoor) in coconut oil and apply on affected parts.
  • Take a handful of dry pomegranate leaves and grind them into a fine powder. Have about 8 grams of this powder every morning and evening, with a glass of water.
