Through yoga we can cure this by doing Virbhadraasan, trikonasana, suptabaddha konasana etc.

In Ayurveda we can use gooseberry (amla), Liquorice (mulethi), Amaldoshari etc.

  1. Diabetes: It is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar. The hormone insulin moves sugar from the blood to the cells which is then converted to energy but with diabetes wither our body is not making enough insulin or the body is not able to use it efficiently. This disease can damage your nerves, eyes, kidneys and many organs. There are many types of diabetes like Type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes.

Stress in many ways is going to affect our life mentally, physically and emotionally. A feeling of unhappiness that lasts for a long time and may lead to developing our character like an unhappy soul. It may be because of bad economic situations or job issues or loneliness, lack of friends, no meaningful person to share your feelings with or any other reason. The person may feel lack of appetite or overeating habit, less concentration on the things which he is doing, isolation, maybe the person can put on weight or loss weight, continuous thoughts going on his mind, thinking more of negative things. It is an indicator of underlying disease when feelings become excessive and interfering daily living. The person suffering from this often seems to be more restless, irritated, palpitation or trembling, racing thoughts in mind or maybe excess sweating.

Yoga is very helpful in managing stress and poses like easy bend, wide legged standing forward bend, side stretch, corpse pose are very helpful in this.

  1. Thyroid Issues: There is a gland in our neck which secretes three hormones which influence the metabolic rate. Because of our lifestyle disorder this gland starts functioning abnormally and results in affecting our health. In this the person may start gaining or losing weight, the metabolic rate becomes either too high or too low. A swelling in the neck is the visible clue for this. The imbalance thyroid hormones can affect nearly every organ in the body slowly and gradually.

Ayurvedic Treatment of Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a condition of decrease in the density of bone, decreasing its strength and resulting in fragile bones. Osteoporosis literally leads to abnormally porous bone that is compressible, like a sponge. This disorder of the skeleton weakens the bone and results in a frequent fractures (breaks) in the bones. Normal bone is composed of protein, collagen, and calcium all of which give bone its strength. Bones that are affected by osteoporosis can break (fracture) with relatively minor injury that normally would not cause a bone to fracture. The fracture can be either in form of cracking (as in a hip fracture) or collapsing (as in a compression fracture of the vertebrae of the spine). The spine, hips, ribs, and wrists are common areas of bone fractures from osteoporosis although osteoporosis related fractures can occur in almost any skeletal bone.

Osteoporosis Ayurvedic Treatment

Symptoms of osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis can also be present without any symptoms for decades because osteoporosis doesn’t cause symptoms until bone fractures. Moreover, some osteoporotic fractures may escape detection for years when they do not cause symptoms. Therefore, patients may not be aware of their osteoporosis until they suffer a painful fracture. The symptom associated with osteoporotic fractures usually is pain; the location of the pain depends on the location of the fracture. Fractures of the spine (vertebra) can cause severe “band-like” pain that radiates from the back to the sides of the body. Over the years, repeated spinal fractures can lead to chronic lower back pain as well as loss of height or curving of the spine due to collapse of the vertebrae. The collapse gives individuals a hunched-back appearance of the upper back, often called a “dowager hump” because it commonly is seen in elderly women.

Ayurvedic Treatments and Tips for Osteoporosis

  • Dairy products are good to have while suffering from osteoporosis.
